It's “That Guy… Who Was in That Thing” meets "WTF" but with people even less well known! Sure it's fun to interview the crazy famous and ask them about the difficult years, but that's been done. Memories are plastic - we're getting the real dirt from people still crawling through it. Laura Scruggs is the playwright and Jake Scruggs is the technical guy who listens to a lot of “This American Life” and thinks that qualifies him to interview people.

0:01:05 Bryn was away for some secret reason, but assures us that all will be revealed in time and it will be compelling

0:01:35 And what about the "lost" episode 42…?

0:02:50 Bryn and Nilsa wax rhapsodic about NYC and all the things you can do there. Again. Do they really need to stop going-on about it? Please let us know.

0:04:45 And Laura kinda wants to go to NYC!

0:05:45 Laura has been up to so much, including being Chicago Fringe Festival Internship Director

0:10:35 A suddenly open slot at Fringe meant that Laura could add her show "Meet Me On The Ceiling" to the fest. Co-written by Laura and her late friend Pat Welch.

0:15:15 Laura is also in a friend's show "A Perfect Age"

0:15:50 And in the Three Cat Productions Solo Festival with "Punk Grandpa". Our friend and former podcast guest Captain Ambivalent also performed at this fest.

0:17:30 Laura hides from compliments. HIDES, I tell you. Hear for yourself.

0:18:25 But there has been crying and sadness, too. Let's just say, finding the right venue for the right play is incredibly important.

0:24:00 Laura has developed innovative promotion tactics and played "Punk Grandpa" to a sold out Elgin Fringe Festival audience. Did we mention that she was in Elgin Fringe, too?

0:30:05 Laura enticed Orlando Fringe Fest fixture Bikini Katie up to Chicago Fringe- she is an innovator in the realm of tasteful topboob advertising. And a wholesome, sweet person. https://www.facebook.com/BikiniAdvertisingSpace

0:35:10 Laura learned to some new vocal warm-up games, like The Vomit One, from production manager Rachel Stalens

0:37:50 Bryn and Nilsa's friend, Julie Mitre, was Mrs. SWAK in "Meet Me On The Ceiling"

0:48:45 And Laura's doing a reading for The Theatre of Western Springs (http://www.theatrewesternsprings.com/)

0:49:50 And what is up with Nilsa? To start, a table read of Desi Moreno Penson's "Comida de Puta" which will premiere in 2015. (http://www.bretadamsltd.net/content/client/plays/desi-moreno-penson-2/)

0:56:30 Ms. Penson's plays always have a horror/fantastical element to them http://www.broadwayplaypubl.com/DEVIL%20LAND.htm

1:00:05 Nilsa has been sent out on many more full print go-sees, not just parts go-sees. And is having fun!

1:05:05 Nilsa works for the Hogwarts of the Upper West Side. There's even a headmaster with magical hounds. Baaaark liiiike Faaaang, bark like Fang…

1:09:35 And Nilsa has been writing her solo show "The Care I Need" because she has an April 15 table read with Lone Star Theatre Company () (http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Lone-Star-Theatres-2014-15-Season-to-Feature-New-Works-by-David-Davila-Nilsa-Reyna-More-20140912)

1:11:30 Bryn teases next week's podcast. Did you know that he was on the board of a film company, Soft Cage Films? Neither did most people. And he promises deeper discussion of his early acting career and his experience with key early collaborators. Plus, a new social media strategy! Plus new a new podcast strategy!  Believe it when you see it! And you will see it!
